Crewtool is a directory edited by an AI agent. The 305+ tool pages are maintained primarily by 'Crewtool AI Editor', which gathers, translates, and refreshes information from public sources. A human editor (Jake) hand-picks the 10–15 tools carrying the Editor's Choice tag based on his own usage, and he signs off on every AI-generated draft before it goes live.

Every tool page carries a visible tier badge: (1) AI-verified Basic — automated by the AI agent, (2) Editor's Choice — Jake uses it in real work, not sponsored, (3) Featured Partner — paid sponsorship, see the FTC-style disclosure section below.

Featured Partner is a paid sponsorship program priced at $99 per month ($990 per year). Pages in this tier carry a clearly visible "Sponsored · Featured Partner" badge both at the top of the tool page and on every home-grid placement, in compliance with FTC endorsement guidelines (16 CFR Part 255) and analogous rules in Korea and Japan.

What the fee covers: a slot in the home Featured section, a sponsor-disclosure banner on the tool page, and a 500–800 word review Jake writes after at least two weeks of hands-on use. Annual renewal.

Vetting and rejection: Jake declines 30–50% of Featured Partner applications on quality and category-fit grounds. Tools that fail to meet the editorial bar are not published regardless of whether the fee was offered.

Editorial independence: Even on paid Featured pages, weaknesses, limitations, and alternatives are surfaced by the editor. Advertisers may only request correction of factual errors; tone and evaluation remain at the editor's discretion.

No affiliate links exist anywhere on Crewtool. Basic (AI-verified) listings and Editor's Choice listings have no financial relationship with the tool vendor.

Data we collect: Crewtool has no accounts or login. During normal browsing we collect no personal data. When you email us, we process only your sender email address to reply.

Listings: No advertising, affiliate, or sponsored placements. When paid featured listings launch, they will be clearly marked with a "Featured" badge.
